Luggage can be stored at some isite Visitor Information Centres and transport centres around New Zealand that are either located at our bus stops or a short walk from our bus stops. The below list outlines where your luggage can be stored and how much this will cost.
KAITAIA isite
Luggage can be securely stored free of charge and must be collected by 4.30pm.
AUCKLAND – SkyCity Travel Centre
Lockers are available for luggage storage at 102 Hobson Street, Auckland (SkyCity Travel Centre) between 7 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Sunday. The charges are:

HAMILTON TRANSPORT CENTRE
Lockers are available for hire inside the Hamilton Transport Centre. Charges are $3 for small, $4 for medium and $6 for large lockers. There is a $10 penalty for lost tickets and lockers can only be opened once.
MATAMATA isite
Luggage can be stored for $5 per person for normal-sized bags, and an additional $5-$10 is charged for oversized items.
ROTORUA isite
Luggage can be stored at the isite on Fenton Street, which is accessible from 8.30 am-5 pm. Storage is charged at the following rates:
Small Locker: $2 for 1 hour, $7 for 3 hours, $10 for 5 hours, $12 for 8 hours, $15 for one day, and $25 for two days.
Medium Locker: $3 for 1 hour, $8 for 3 hours, $12 for 5 hours, $15 for 8 hours, $20 for one day, and $30 for two days.
Large Locker: $4 for 1 hour, $9 for 3 hours, $13 for 5 hours, $17 for 8 hours, $25 for one day, and $35 for two days.
TAURANGA isite
Luggage can be stored for $2 per bag or $7 per bag for overnight storage and must be collected by 4.45 pm.
TAUPO isite
Day storage is available at the Super Loos in Taupo which is a 5-minute walk from the Taupo i-SITE where many InterCity buses depart.
NAPIER
Luggage can be stored at the public toilets located next to the Napier isite. The InterCity bus stop is located 15 minutes walk from the Napier isite.
PALMERSTON NORTH isite
Luggage can be stored in storage lockers located in the public toilets attached to the Palmerston North isite building. The charge for the small lockers is $2 for one hour ranging to $12 for 12 hours. The charge for the large lockers is $3 for one hour ranging to $15 for 12 hours.
WELLINGTON
There is no luggage storage available at Wellington isite, however, the Waterloo backpackers across the road from the Wellington train station provide luggage storage.
PICTON isite
Luggage can be stored in lockers for $2 for half a day and $4 for a full day. Lockers must be cleared by 5 pm before the overnight rate of $4 is charged.
GREYMOUTH isite
Luggage can be stored at $2 per bag and $5 per bag, per night.
CHRISTCHURCH AIRPORT
Luggage Solutions, located within the Christchurch airport have luggage storage facilities and charge by the size of the item and the length of storage. They offer a discount for long-term storage.
KAIKOURA isite
Luggage can be stored for $2 per person per day during opening hours.
QUEENSTOWN - Kiwi Discoveries
Kiwi Discoveries, located across the road from the Queenstown i-SITE can store luggage. This is charged at $5 per bag per day or $20 per bag per week. This service is not available during winter.
FIORDLAND isite
The Fiordland isite have secure luggage storage available. It is charged at $3 for 0-4 hours ranging to $30 for 7 days. The InterCity bus stop is located 3 minutes walk from the Fiordland (Te Anau) i-SITE.
DUNEDIN
Luggage can be stored at the public convenience centre on Municipal Lane located behind the Dunedin i-SITE.
